Worse News Than the Favre Saga...

...just might be the Johnny Jolly saga:

Houston police found cups containing codeine syrup in a vehicle driven by Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly earlier this month.

Jolly, 25, was arrested July 8 in Houston and later charged with possessing at least 200 grams of codeine, according to a criminal complaint filed by the Harris County District Attorney's Office.

Fortunately the Packers are still fairly deep on the line, but Jolly was a huge part of the success experienced by that unit last year. After his injury, the performance of the line tailed off noticeably. The Packers would still have a good defensive line if Jolly were to face suspension, court, or jail time, but it probably wouldn't be as good as it was with him.
