Brewers' Low-A team moving to Wisconsin?

From the Charleston Daily Mail (via BCB).

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Are the Milwaukee Brewers pulling the plug on the West Virginia Power?

The low Class A player development contract between Milwaukee and West Virginia ends in September.

...

Rumor has it, the Brewers want to move their Class A franchise to nearby Appleton, Wis. That would end the affiliation between the Seattle Mariners and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

Cool. I've always wanted to go to a Timber Rattlers game. I understand they have pretty great attendance for these games, despite fielding garbage teams. The quality of baseball would probably improve if the Timber Rattlers became part of the Brewers farm system and there'd be the potential to see some future Brewers stars on their way up, as well as current players on rehab assignments and stuff. Or even guys like Turnbow, for old times' sake. I think that would be enough incentive to make the drive to Appleton.
