Once again the Evil Empire is turned back

Above footage from Detroit as the Yankees Evil Empire 2006 season Death Star explodes. As a Yankee hater I am over joyed. The east coast media mafia still has the Mets to root for but I don't have a problem with the Mets because I always root for the National League in the World Series. If the NL can win the WS we can stick the whole "The American league is a better league" right up their asses.

Let the A-Rod bashing begin I cannot wait to see the NYC fans and media crucify him because someone needs to be thrown under the Yankee bus and it will be A-Rod.

A quick aside A Rod is screwed no one besides the Yankees/Mets/Red Soxs can really afford him but he gets shredded by the media in those markets. I am not an A Rod fan but I think he would have a hell of a lot more fun playing in a smaller market like Milwaukee or Cleveland for example where people would be a bit more forgiving than the Yankee faithful.

I mean I would have loved to have his numbers from 06 at third for the Crew

But he has priced himself out of the markets where he might actually enjoy playing so I hope he enjoys another winter of being the Yankee Villain.

He will never live up to playing next to the only Yankee I like Derick Jeter

The real icing on the Yankee Haters Cake is the fact the Mets have advanced because I know the Mets fans all over NYC are going to be Whooping and busting Yankee fans balls for the next week or two all winter if they win the World Series. Just like the Sox fans busted the Cubs fans balls all winter.

So Yankee Haters of the World revel in another hear the Evil Empire didn't win it all.
