An easy one...

Screw the weekend, I found an evening game. 6 pm tonight, Lions at Jets. By every line I have seen Detroit is 3 point dogs. While their defense is shaky, the Jets offense is perhaps shakier.

After Pennington goes out, it comes down to Fiedler, Bollinger and Kevin Eakin (?). Fiedler may be able to move the ball, but Bollinger? Yeah, that's a fourth quarter blank for the J-E-T-S. Oddjack puts their plight eloquently:

It’s officially opening weekend of preseason NFL football, and Jets fans have a lot to be excited about. Their top draft pick this year was a kicker, they return a wide receiver that left them for another team a couple years ago, their golden boy QB has a bum shoulder, and Jeremy Shockey kicked their ass in a recent scrimmage skirmish.

On the other hand, Detroit has Harrington and Garcia battling to outscore and make the most of the talented offense (Williams, Williams, Jones, Pollard, and Rogers) around them. They should blow the scoreboard up tonight.

Take the Lions and 3 and expect to be paid by halftime.
